The Manage My Profile interface allow Members to configure and update more personal profile details, such as their single email address, phone numbers, and social media links. Here, Members can also enter public open houses, which can subsequently be perused by clients on TRREB’s public website (TRREB.ca) as well as on REALTOR.ca.

You have selected either Matrix or Stratus as your preferred way to access TRREB's MLS® System. These systems provide the greatest exposure of listed properties to the largest trading area in Canada.

Stratus Collaborate allows your clients to search for listings on any device, receive real time notifications of new listings, and share their comments with you.

TRREB’s Online Data Agreement System allows Brokers of Record, their Salespeople and third parties to more efficiently complete and control DLA Agreements, IDX Agreements and VOW Agreements online, instead of on paper.

TRREB’s Internet Data Exchange (IDX) allows Brokerages, through reciprocal agreements, to advertise their active listings on each other’s websites, thus heightening exposure.

TRREB also offers VOW (Virtual Office Website) data to Members on request in RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) format. VOW RETS allows all Brokerages that have signed the TRREB VOW RETS Datafeed Agreement access to the available listings data via a RETS client.

With the WEBForms®/Authentisign® platform, Stratus Users can experience a single access point for electronic forms (CREA WEBForms®) and electronic signatures (Authentisign®). They will also benefit from the ability to upload listing drafts from MLS® Data Information Forms, one-click form auto-population directly from Stratus listings, and unlimited document storage.

TRREB’s Buyer Registry Service® (BRS®) allows Members to electronically register Buyer Representation Agreements, helping to reduce commission disputes.

The MLS® Home Price Index (MLS® HPI) is a system that measures home prices and home price growth. It is calculated using a sophisticated statistical model that takes into account a home’s quantitative (e.g., the number of rooms it has) and qualitative (e.g., whether it has a finished basement) features.

With the TRREB Market Stats dashboards, Members can use TRREB stats in many exciting new ways, with the capability to create custom charts and tables using historic TRREB data. Members can access quarterly rental and community level statistics and download the results in PDF, PNG and Excel formats.

Through RealNet, Members have access to current information on new housing developments (both low- and high-rise) and commercial properties in the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

The RealTrack ICIcomps database can be used to search for information on Commercial sales transactions for properties located throughout Ontario. It contains information on over 115,000 property transfers dating back to 1996.

The Public Records link in Stratus provides access to assessment (MPAC propertyline™), land registry (GeoWarehouse®), demographic and other information on a subject property, including comparable property searches. You can access Public Records information right from individual listings in Stratus – no need to retype property information. Public Records-related applications work on all devices.

Interboarding allows TRREB Members to list properties on another participating Board’s MLS® System for a fee.

An Arbitration Roster is appointed on an annual basis to process claims involving disputes between Brokerage Members related to the division, distribution, or disposition of commission paid or to be paid in connection to any listing on TRREB’s MLS® System.

Placing a listing on Stratus requires the taxes field to be filled in. This field, left blank, is a violation of the TRREB DIS (Data Integrity Service). To learn how to calculate realty taxes, watch the Video Centre’s brief Calculating Realty Taxes training video under Compliance.

A Provincial Land Transfer Tax applies to all properties in Ontario, including Toronto. A separate Toronto Land Transfer Tax applies to Toronto properties only.

First-Time Home Buyers’ Tax Credit
The First-Time Home Buyers’ Tax Credit provides a 15% credit on a maximum of $5,000 of home purchase costs (e.g., legal fees, land transfer taxes, etc.), meaning a maximum tax relief of $750.

Marijuana Grow Houses – Municipal Inspections
A grow house is a home that has been leased or bought by persons in the drug trade and used as an indoor nursery or hydroponics operation to grow marijuana plants. These operations often involve significant alteration to the dwelling structure and electrical system, which can compromise structural integrity and pose safety and fire hazards.

RRSP Home Buyers’ Plan
The Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP) is a program in which, generally, one may withdraw up to $35,000 from their registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) to buy or build a qualifying home.
